Data Sheet FLUORONOX L 20/1 | Synthetic Low Temperature and High Speed Grease |
Fluoronox L 20/1 is a chemically inert grease of soft consistency. It has been formulated from a high viscosity index Perfluoropolyether and micronized PTFE.
The low pour point of the base fluid and its high thermal stability make it suitable for long time lubrication from -60°C to +130°C. Temperature peaks of up to +230°C can be tolerated. The maximum allowable temperature is +260°C.
Fluoronox L 20/1 is odourless, non-flammable, oxidation resistant, free of carbonising substances, free of substances that can build solid or rubber-like residues. It is resistant to water, strong acids, watery alkalis and most organic solvents.
Typical applications of Fluoronox L 20/1 include thin film lubrication of sliding parts at low temperatures, especially parts made of glass, metal or plastic. Lubrication of fine mechanical parts that require low adjustment and little start-up torque. Lubrication of high speed roller bearings.
